Confederation of Meningitis Organisations (CoMO)

The Confederation of Meningitis Organisations was founded in September 2004 when 20 meningitis and child health organisations from 14 countries around the world came together to fight meningitis on a global scale with the aim to protect children, young adults and the elderly from the disease.
The Meningitis Centre is an inaugural member organisation of CoMO and remains an active member working closely with other CoMO member organisations to raise the profile of meningitis and provide emotional and practical support to those affected by the disease.
CoMO is dedicated to:
- Eliminating meningitis and septicaemia world-wide by vaccination.
- Increasing awareness and furthering education about meningitis and early recognition of its signs and symptoms.
- Supporting meningitis survivors and the families affected by the disease.
